Return and Refund Policy for Scan Tool Depot

Thank you for shopping at Scan Tool Depot.

If, for any reason, You are not completely satisfied with a purchase We invite You to review our policy on refunds and returns.

The following terms are applicable for any products that You purchased with Us.

Shipping Fees

  • Ground S&H 2-5 Business Days: FREE
    • LTL/Truck Freight S&H up to 5-7 Business Days: prepaid (excluding possible $75.00 liftgate fee)
  • Expedited S&H 1-3 Business Days: $50.00
    • Expedited S&H Not Available on LTL/Truck Freight

Your Order Cancellation Rights

You are entitled to cancel Your Order within 30 days without giving any reason for doing so.

The deadline for cancelling an Order is 30 days from the date on which You received the Goods or on which a third party you have appointed, who is not the carrier, takes possession of the product delivered.

In order to exercise Your right of cancellation, You must inform Us of your decision by means of a clear statement. You can inform us of your decision by:

We will reimburse You no later than 14 days from the day on which We receive the returned Goods. We will use the same means of payment as You used for the Order, and You will not incur any fees for such reimbursement.

Order Cancellation

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order at any time for certain reasons including but not limited to the below; if an order cancellation situation arises due to this we will contact you to discuss next steps:

  • Errors in the description or prices for Goods
  • Errors in Your Order

Conditions for Returns

In order for the Goods to be eligible for a return, please make sure that:

  • The Goods were purchased in the last 30 days

  • The Goods are in the original packaging and un-opened

  • The Goods were not used or damaged

  • You have the receipt or proof of purchase

The following Goods cannot be returned:

  • The supply of Goods made to Your specifications or clearly personalized.

  • The supply of Goods which according to their nature are not suitable to be returned, deteriorate rapidly or where the date of expiry is over.

  • The supply of Goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.

  • The supply of Goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.

We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions in our sole discretion.

Only regular priced Goods may be refunded. Unfortunately, Goods on sale cannot be refunded. This exclusion may not apply to You if it is not permitted by applicable law.

Returning Goods & Restocking Fees

You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the Goods to Us, along with applicable restocking fees and any other applicable fees at our discretion which will be confirmed and provided on a case-by-case basis. You should send the Goods at the following address:

  • Gather the purchases you want to return in “like new”, un-opened, sellable condition.

Refund method and timing:

  • We will reimburse you for returned items in the same way you paid for them. If you prefer, you can make an exchange for the same item.

  • For returns by mail, once we receive your return, we will process it within 2–3 business days. Depending on your bank's processing time, it may take up to 7 business days after we process the return to reflect on your account.

Special considerations:

  • Return shipping fees - estimated return shipping fees will be quoted when the phone call for the return label is placed.

  • Damaged, defective or incorrect items - if you receive a product that is damaged in shipping, defective or that is not the product you ordered, please contact us during your return and exchange time period and we'll arrange for a replacement. We will cover all reasonable and customary ground shipping fees.

  • Connected devices - please make sure that all data has been removed and the device is no longer linked to any cloud account or to any other device so that we may accept the return of this product.

  • Activated subscriptions - activated subscription codes for digital products are not eligible for return or refund. Once a subscription code is redeemed and activated, it becomes associated with your account, granting access to the associated digital content or services. As such, we are unable to accept returns for activated subscription codes unless they are found to be defective or not functioning as intended.

  • Purchases from a third party supplier - return policies for purchases made from a third-party website (e.g., Amazon, Google) are listed on those websites.

Special important information:

  • Privacy protection - please remember to remove your personal data and other information from the products you are returning.

We cannot be held responsible for Goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, We recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the Goods or proof of received return delivery.
